Job description

The Line Leader - Packing is responsible for managing the packing line operations, ensuring efficiency, product quality, and strict adherence to food safety and regulatory standards. You will lead your team to meet production goals while maintaining a compliant, safe, and well-maintained work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Packing Operations: Lead the packing line to ensure smooth, efficient processes.
• Ensure Quality: Monitor product quality and safety throughout the packing process.
• Food Safety Compliance: Ensure all packing activities comply with FSSC 22000, Halal, HACCP, GMP, and other relevant food safety standards.
• Equipment Maintenance: Monitor the condition of packing machinery, performing basic maintenance, and coordinating with the maintenance team for repairs to minimize downtime.
• Lead the Team: Guide and support packing operators to achieve daily production targets.
• Solve Issues: Quickly address any operational or equipment problems on the line.
• Maintain Safety: Ensure all safety, hygiene, and food safety guidelines are strictly followed by the team.
• Manage Inventory: Keep track of packing materials and coordinate restocking as needed.
• Conduct Inspections: Regularly inspect facilities, equipment, and processes to maintain hygiene and safety.
• Record & Report: Maintain accurate records of production, compliance checks, maintenance activities, and report daily performance.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Experience: 2-3 years in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or food processing environment.
• Skills: Strong leadership, basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance, problem-solving and strong communication skills.
• Computer knowledge: familiarity with basic computer applications for data-entry, reporting and inventory management.
