Job summary

Global Wisdom Services is seeking a Licensing & Regulatory Specialist to support fintech licensing applications across jurisdictions. You will execute processes with cross-department coordination, manage regulatory documents, and ensure compliance with licensing requirements.

In Kuala Lumpur, you will coordinate with Compliance, Finance, Operations, Product, and Technology teams, maintain document trackers, and align regulatory updates with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws or above.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in legal, compliance, or financial services operations.
• Demonstrated cross-functional project coordination experience.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Professional proficiency in English and Mandarin.

Job description

Support the company's global fintech licensing applications and maintenance. This role focuses on executing application processes with strong cross-department coordination, managing regulatory documentation, and ensuring compliance with licensing requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Application Execution & Cross-Department Coordination

• Lead the collection and preparation of licensing application documents by coordinating across multiple departments (Compliance, Finance, Operations, Product, Technology)
• Develop and maintain document request trackers to ensure timely submission of required materials from all stakeholders
• Organize and facilitate cross-functional licensing preparation meetings to align requirements and timelinesAct as primary liaison between legal team and business units for all licensing documentation needs

2. Document Management & Process Optimization

• Maintain centralized licensing files and regulatory databases accessible to authorized stakeholders
• Implement and improve document management processes for multi-department collaborationAssist with routine regulatory filings

3. Research & Regulatory Alignment

• Conduct preliminary research on regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable departmental requirements
• Prepare and distribute regulatory requirement summaries to relevant depts
• Monitor regulatory updates and communicate impacts to cross-functional teams

4. Stakeholder Coordination & Communication

• Schedule and prepare materials for regulatory meetings involving multiple departments
• Coordinate with external counsel while ensuring internal stakeholder alignment
• Maintain shared application timelines and provide regular status updates to all involved teams
• Develop and maintain standardized documentation templates for consistent cross-department use

Qualifications
