Lemon Sky Animation Sdn Bhd ("Lemon Sky" or the "Company") is a leading creative production studio headquartered in Malaysia, specializing in high‑quality art and animation for the global video game and entertainment industries. Lemon Sky collaborates with some of the world’s top game developers and publishers to deliver visually stunning and technically refined content across AAA titles and major animation projects.

We are seeking a highly capable and independent In‑House Counsel to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate is well‑versed in corporate and commercial law, with hands‑on experience in public‑listed company operations, capital markets, and litigation management. This role requires a self‑starter who can work directly with senior management, provide sound legal advice on complex corporate matters, and coordinate effectively with external counsel with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate & Capital Market
  • Advise and support the execution of corporate transactions for the Group (IPO, fundraising, M&A).
  • Draft and review term sheets, MOUs, NDAs, agreements.
  • Advise and assist with drafting, reviewing, and executing the company’s Terms & Conditions, privacy policies, and all legal documentation.
  • Assist in continuously promoting good corporate governance, best principles and practices, culture, and value‑added business systems and processes to the company.
  • Handle the safekeeping and filing, as well as updating, the corporate secretarial documents and records for the Group.
  • Provide legal assistance and support to various departments and business lines of the Group.
  • Serve as the main internal point of contact for all legal queries from operations, finance, and corporate teams.
2. Legal & Litigation Management
  • Manage and coordinate litigation and dispute resolution matters, including engagement and supervision of external counsel.
  • Provide proactive legal risk assessments and mitigation strategies across business units.
  • Maintain oversight on all ongoing legal proceedings and settlements.
  • Ensure proper documentation, records, and compliance across all legal processes.
Job Requirements
  • Possesses a bachelor’s degree in law or equivalent in a related discipline (paralegal studies).
  • Proven ability to handle litigation management and external counsel efficiently.
  • Minimum 3 years and above of working experience in the corporate legal department, established law firms, or related fields.
  • Good communication skills, both spoken and written in English (proficiency in other languages is advantageous).
  • Good oral communication and report‑writing skills.
