- Assist in handling litigation matters including civil, commercial, corporate, or general disputes.
- Prepare and draft court documents such as cause papers, pleadings, affidavits, and submissions.
- Conduct legal research and case law analysis to support litigation strategy.
- Assist in preparation for hearings and trials, including bundle of documents and witness statements.
- Court Appearances
- Attend case management, hearings, and trials under supervision or independently (based on experience).
- Liaise with court staff, opposing counsel, and relevant authorities on case matters.
- Client Communication
- Attend client meetings with senior lawyers or partners.
- Communicate with clients on case progress and gather necessary facts or instructions.
- Prepare status updates and written legal opinions under guidance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized university.
- Called to the Malaysian Bar (or relevant jurisdiction) with valid practicing certificate.
- Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
