Operating two petroleum storage terminals in Sarawak’s Southern and Central regions, SSSB develops and manages centralized storage and distribution facilities for petroleum, gas, and chemical products through its subsidiaries IOT Management Sdn Bhd and Tanjung Manis Oil Terminal Management Sdn Bhd.

Key industrial operations are located at Senari Synergy Industrial Complex (SSIC) in Kuching and Palm Oil Industrial Cluster (POIC) in Tanjung Manis. The company also promotes petrochemical and oleo-chemical activities and oversees port operations related to oil, gas, and chemicals through Senari Synergy Port Sdn Bhd. Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Assistant located in Kuching. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for supporting legal operations through preparing and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, and assisting in the drafting and management of contracts. Additional tasks include providing administrative assistance, maintaining proper documentation, ensuring compliance with legal protocols, and effectively communicating with colleagues and stakeholders to address legal matters.

Qualifications
  • A solid understanding of Law and proven expertise in Legal Assistants tasks
  • Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, contract drafting, and compliance review
  • Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective correspondence
  • Competency in Administrative Assistance to maintain organized legal documentation
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a dynamic environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in the petroleum, gas, or renewable energy sectors is an advantage
