Job summary

RWS is seeking Legal Annotators to support AI training for contract management platforms in Chinese (Simplified). This freelance, remote role offers a flexible schedule and the chance to work on international contracts.

You'll perform multilingual data collection, evaluation, and annotation, analyze clauses, and participate in calibration and quality reviews to improve model safety and accuracy.

Start immediately with 25+ hours weekly; compensation is 16.20 USD per hour with timely payments.

Qualifications

• Contract or legal domain expertise with cross-jurisdiction contracts.
• Fluency in English and the target language (Chinese Simplified).
• Experience in data annotation or ML data evaluation preferred.

What We’re Looking For:

• Legal Expertise: Contract or legal domain expertise, with strong legal interpretation and contract-review skills (especially regarding international and cross-jurisdictional contracts)
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English alongside the relevant target language
• AI & Data Capabilities (Preferred): Prior data-annotation experience or familiarity with machine learning data evaluation and quality assurance tasks
