Job summary

Salary Range

RM7,000-RM9,000

Responsibilities

• Undertake independent teaching and research in his or her discipline or related area.
• Make an independent contribution which expands knowledge.
• Demonstrate expertise and provide leadership and service that includes coordination of activities of other staff, as appropriate to the discipline.
• Contribute to teaching at undergraduate, honours and postgraduate level.
• Engage in independent scholarship and/or research; and
• Contribute to professional activities appropriate to his or her profession or discipline.
• Required to perform the full academic responsibilities of and related administration for the coordination of an award program of the institution.

Qualifications and Criteria

• Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent qualifications and/or professional experience in a relevant field from a reputed institution.
• Master’s degree (preferably by research) / Doctoral degree (preferably by research) in a relevant field from a reputed institution
• Excellent academic results from pre-university level onwards.
• Professional qualification in a relevant field or those progressing towards the qualification
• Registration with relevant professional body (if applicable).
• Knowledge in relevant sub-areas or specialist areas.
• Research track record.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Prior teaching experience at undergraduate or postgraduate level will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with digital learning technologies.
