Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, MIS, Statistics, Computer Science, or a closely business-related field.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience at the tertiary level (Lecturer/Senior Lecturer).
• Professional certifications in analytics tools (e.g., SAS, Tableau, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, CBAP) are highly valued
• Proficiency in Python and R for statistical analysis and programming
• Advanced skills in Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling
• Familiarity with Excel, SAS, SPSS, or similar analytical tools
• Publication in Q1 and Q2 journals is an additional advantage

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute student learning and development through teaching assignments with monitoring of course quality
• Supervise undergraduate projects (final year, capstone, internships) and postgraduate progress
• Contribute to research activities by seeking internal and external research grants
• Publish articles in Q1/Q2 journals and other scholarly works
• Engage in services and networking to professional bodies and university activities
