LECTURER IN OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH
REQUIREMENT
  • Bachelor/Degree in Occupational Safety & Health Management / Environment or any related.

  • Having 3 years and above of working experience in Occupational Safety and Health Education or in Safety Industry (Standard MQA & DOSH).

  • Interested in Teaching.

  • Have experience in audit & organization document management system.

JOB DESCRIPTION
  1. Developing and implementing new methods of teaching

  2. Designing, preparing and developing teaching material

  3. Delivering lectures, seminars and tutorials

  4. Prepare and regularly update teaching files assigned by PCO

  5. Assessing student coursework

  6. Prepare and marking examinations questions

  7. Responsibility on student attendance record

  8. Invigilate examinations and practical training presentation

  9. Supporting student through pastoral/advisory role

  10. Supervising student activities

  11. Undertaking continuous professional development and participating in staff training activities

  12. Undertaking administrative task related to the department

  13. Representing the institution at professional conferences and seminars and contributing to the as necessary

  14. Representative for student site visit in related industry

  15. Develop module for diploma or short courses program (internal/external)

  16. Recommend adoption and purchase of textbooks or training material for each course offering with PCO and DPCO

  17. Assist the Deputy to arrange site visit, seminar and other training program for diploma/degree students

  18. Any relevant task given from time to time by principal or Deputy Principal
