Job summary

Coherent Corp. in Ipoh, Malaysia is seeking a manufacturing operative to perform daily processes in strict accordance with documented procedures and certifications. You will highlight quality issues to the Line Leader and ensure 5S, lean manufacturing practices, and cleanroom/ESD procedures are followed.

Basic glue handling knowledge, good communication, and basic computer skills are required. This is a full-time role in a global leader in lasers and engineered materials with growth

Qualifications

• Minimum: SPM (high school level) or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of glue volatilization or glue mixing environment.
• Good communication skills and basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform operation/process according to documented procedures and certification.
• Conduct daily processes as per document and meet targets.
• Identify quality issues and report to Line Leader or Supervisor.
• Follow ESD and Cleanroom procedures.
• Maintain 5S standards at all times and final shift cleanup.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continual improvement efforts.
• Adhere to ISO requirements and company rules.
