We’re expanding our talent footprint and looking for a Lead, Talent Acquisition (Malaysia) to drive and scale our hiring efforts across Malaysia — and support regional growth across Southeast Asia.

In this strategic role, you’ll take full ownership of end-to-end recruitment for Malaysia-based and cross-border roles, partnering closely with business leaders across engineering, AI, operations, and other high-growth functions. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the quality and velocity of our hires — identifying, attracting, and closing top-tier, mission-aligned talent who will help us build the future of financial access across the region.

What You’ll Do
  • Own full-cycle hiring across diverse business functions, with a strong focus on tech, product, and leadership roles.

  • Act as a talent quality gatekeeper — screening beyond resumes to identify high-potential individuals.

  • Proactively source exceptional candidates via platforms, communities, networks, and creative sourcing strategies.

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand business needs, define role scopes, and co-design effective hiring processes.

  • Conduct insightful interviews that uncover both skill and cultural fit.

  • Provide structured feedback to candidates and internal teams to drive data-informed hiring decisions.

  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience through transparent communication and timely engagement.

  • Manage and continuously improve the hiring funnel through ATS usage and recruitment analytics.

  • Stay ahead of talent market trends in Malaysia and the region to shape proactive hiring strategies.

Requirements
  • 4+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, ideally within tech, startup, or growth-stage environments.

  • Proven track record hiring across multiple functions and levels.

  • Deep familiarity with modern sourcing tools, ATS platforms, and best practices.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Nice to Have
  • Experience hiring in AI, product, or software engineering functions.

  • Knowledge of Malaysia’s talent landscape, job boards, and professional networks.

  • Exposure to employer branding or recruitment marketing.

  • Familiarity with regional hiring across Southeast Asia.

  • Experience working in a remote-first or hybrid environment.
