Role Overview:
Directly involved in Powerplant Engineer's manpower planning that supports production team on engine workscoping.
Managing engine workscopes for shop induction pipeline.
Driving SQDIP metrics for Powerplant Engineering Team by utilizing fully the Flightdeck principles.
Driving cost saving initiatives by either Challenging engine workscope status quo or researching engine part/component historical data via CFMi salesforce or MRB review board.
Lead/manage engine investigations to determine root causes of engine issues that supports fleet management.
Involved in Safety Action Group initiatives that drives SMS implementation and adherence in shop.
Ideal Candidate:
Candidate will have a strong background in powerplant engineering, including expertise in engine/propulsion systems, thermodynamics, and basic engine system operation along with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC). The ideal candidate should hold a technical degree in aerospace, mechanical, or related engineering fields, with at least 5 years of experience in powerplant & engine workscoping. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage complex projects is essential.
Required Qualifications:
Degree in Aviation, Mechanical or relevant engineering field.
Minimum 5 years of related experience.
