Job summary

Biocon Sdn Bhd is seeking a senior professional to lead pilot-scale operations and drive technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing. The role emphasizes data-driven process improvements, experimental studies, and strict adherence to GMP, EHS, and ALCOA documentation standards.

You will mentor teams and ensure timely, compliant project delivery across cross-functional interfaces. You will coordinate training and development, manage resources, and support audits while maintaining safe handling

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in biotechnology, chemistry, life sciences, or pharmaceutical sciences.
• Master’s degree with relevant industry experience in process development or tech transfer.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, data analysis, and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead pilot-scale operations and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Support technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing and draft transfer docs.
• Perform experimental studies and data-driven investigations.
• Ensure GMP, EHS, and documentation standards compliance.
• Manage people and develop the team’s skills and performance.
• Support audits and ALCOA documentation principles.
• Maintain safe chemical handling and waste management in R&D.
