Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking a Process Engineer to lead the digital design of Mold and Symbol Trim Form (STF) manufacturing processes. This role starts with a 1-month TI orientation, then a 1–2 year MES implementation project before returning to production to optimize yield and efficiency using digital process controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related field.
• Strong hands-on semiconductor process experience with Mold equipment (e.g., Towa, ASM) AND/OR Symbol Trim Form equipment (e.g., ASM, Besi), with minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong foundation in statistical process control, engineering change control and process release strategies.

Responsibilities

• MES Implementation (Project Phase): Drive EOL manufacturing process design (Mold and STF) within the MES. Define process flows, routing, material handling, and traceability.
• Control & Exception Handling: Define digital process controls and exception handling logic (e.g., Mold cure excursions and STF dimension/trimming holds, rework, and material disposition).
• Validation & Alignment: Align requirements with manufacturing and quality teams. Validate proposed digital workflows and support UAT and deployment for both process areas.
• Sustaining (Post-Project Phase): Transition to production to manage process stability and use MES-driven data to optimize Mold and STF parameters to improve yield and efficiency.
