Responsibilities

• Assists the head chef in daily operations.
• Takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the manager to meet standards and quality.
• Follows instructions from superiors to complete daily tasks.
• Estimates daily production needs and checks the quality of raw and cooked food to meet standards.
• Maintains hygiene, safety, and proper use of equipment and utensils.
• Participates in staff training.
• Supervises and schedules food and beverage staff.
• Ensures customer satisfaction and handles complaints when needed.
• Orders and maintains inventory control.
• Oversees food service and acts as expeditor to move orders to customers.
