Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related FPGA design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement FPGA-based solutions across multiple areas.
• Lead small projects and coordinate with other engineers, including reviews.
• Review customer documentation, perform research, analysis and experiments with minimal direction.
• Create technical proposals with timelines.
• Design, modify and implement systems including schematics and BOM.
• Test, simulate and measure performance of systems.
• Keep up to date with industry knowledge and regulations.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
• Create reports and documentation.

Detailed Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Lead the design, development and implementation of technical solutions in multiple domains. Participate in projectplanning and scheduling.
• Provide technical leadership and direction to a team of engineers. May be a recognized expert (go to person) in one or more technical areas
• Review, interpret and may negotiate customer requirements/specifications and provide customer feedback
• Lead the deployment of strategic programs and coordinate site-wide deployment efforts.
• Proactively promote industry best practices
• May manage relationships with key vendors/partners.
• Design, modify and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs. E.g. creation of Schematics, Bills of material, diagrams, drawings, etc.
• Testing, simulation and measuring (including troubleshooting) the performance of systems
• Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations
• Solve complex problems
• Liaison with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams.
• Analyze and interpret data and information
• Recommend modifications for systems
• Create reports and documentation
• May be a recognized expert (go to person) in one or more technical areas.
