Job description

We are seeking a Senior / Lead System Architect (CSSA / LSA) to support Customer Assisted Projects across the full lifecycle of solution conceptualization, design, implementation, and post-go-live support on the Pega platform.

In this role, you will work closely with both business and IT stakeholders to analyze requirements, design scalable solutions, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery aligned with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of Pega BPM solutions across customer-assisted projects.

Design and develop applications using Pega 8.x and above, leveraging Pega CPM, CPMI, SFA, and Pega Marketing frameworks where applicable.

Act as the architecture authority for Pega PRPC solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices, governance standards, and enterprise architecture principles.

Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into functional, technical, and integration specifications.

Design and oversee system integrations using technologies such as REST, SOAP, MQ, and HTTP.

Ensure robust application security, including configuration of file listeners, email listeners, and access controls.

Lead code reviews, reusable asset development, and enforce quality standards across the delivery team.

Conduct system performance testing, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure scalability and reliability.

Work closely with delivery teams to track progress, manage dependencies, and ensure solutions are delivered on schedule and to quality expectations.

Support and execute implementation and post-implementation activities, including production support when required.

Provide clear and consistent communication to stakeholders, ensuring transparency on progress, risks, and deliverables.

Participate in IT governance activities, ensuring compliance with SDLC, Agile, CI/CD practices, and monitoring standards (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Dynatrace).

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 8–10 years of hands-on experience delivering Pega solutions, including CPM, CPMI, SFA, or Pega Marketing frameworks.

Strong expertise in Pega PRPC architecture and design.

Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns and related technologies (REST, SOAP, MQ, HTTP).

Proficient in SQL, with the ability to write functional queries and procedures.

Strong experience with application security, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

Good understanding of SDLC, Agile, CI/CD methodologies, and related tools.

Exposure to Pega containerization architecture is an advantage.

Java development experience or strong understanding of Java concepts is a plus.

Strong architectural thinking and problem-solving skills.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities, across business and technical audiences.

Proven ability to lead delivery teams and drive outcomes in complex environments.

High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to quality.

Ability to balance strategic design with hands‑on execution.
