Job summary

eCloudvalley Technology is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer Lead in Kuala Lumpur to drive the technical delivery of complex AWS projects. You will translate architectures into detailed designs, lead hands-on deployments, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams.

The role demands strong AWS expertise, IaC proficiency, and a track record of secure, scalable cloud implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, or related roles delivering complex cloud projects.
• Hands-on experience with AWS core services (compute, networking, storage, security, monitoring).
• Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts (VPCs, routing, DNS, load balancing, VPNs, hybrid connectivity).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation or equivalents).
• Proficiency in scripting/automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar.

Responsibilities

• Translate approved architectures into detailed LLDs and implementation plans.
• Design and implement scalable, secure AWS solutions.
• Lead hands-on deployment, migration, and troubleshooting of AWS infrastructure and services.
• Develop and maintain IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor junior cloud engineers and lead technical workstreams.
• Collaborate with customers, Solution Architects, Project Managers, and engineering teams to ensure successful delivery.
