Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Laundry Attendant to join our Laundry Team. You will be responsible for the meticulous upkeep of linens and the detailed dry cleaning of guests' clothing, ensuring high cleanliness standards.

The role requires prior laundry or hospitality experience, ability to operate laundry equipment safely, and physical fitness to lift up to 60lbs. Bahasa Malaysia and English proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry operations, housekeeping, or hospitality.
• Basic knowledge of laundry equipment, fabric care, stain removal.
• Ability to operate washing machines, dryers, pressing and ironing safely.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality standards.
• Physically fit to stand for long periods, lift laundry loads up to 60lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to read Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Laundry Attendant

The Laundry Attendant is an integral part of the Laundry Team who collectively is responsible for the meticulous upkeep of all linens used throughout the hotel as well as the detailed dry cleaning of our guests clothing. Laundry Attendant is responsible for the pressing and the dry cleaning of our guests’ clothes and other items per their particular requests.

What You Will Do:

• Sorts used linens into appropriate categories for washing. Sorts out stained or torn linen. Loads and unloads driers.

• Shakes wet sheets, table linens and napkins prior to ironing in order to spread them out.Feeds washed linens into ironer. Retrieves folded linens and stacks or hangs clean linens as appropriate.

• Sorts clean towels, rugs and robes.Uses towel folder and manual folding for bath towels, washcloths, rugs and robes. Places folded product on appropriate rack.

• Operates and maintains folding equipment. Reports any problems or deficiencies to manager.

• Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

What You Bring:

• Previous experience in laundry operations, housekeeping, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.

• Basic knowledge of laundry equipment, fabric care, stain removal, and garment handling.

• Ability to operate washing machines, dryers, pressing, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality standards.

• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods, lift laundry loads, and perform repetitive tasks.

• Ability to lift up to 60lbs.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

• Good time management and organizational skills.

• Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Understanding of workplace safety, hygiene, and chemical handling procedures is preferred.

• Able to work a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays as per business demands and needs.

• Must be able to speak, read, and write Bahasa Malaysia and English.

• Must have the right to work in Malaysia.
