Job summary

A tech company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Laravel Developer to develop and maintain web-based PHP applications. Job description

Develop, record, and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications.

Prepare and maintain all applications by utilizing standard development tools.

Integrate existing solutions with third-party backend data services.

Utilize backend data services and contribute to increasing existing data services API.

Effectively convey task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules, as well as technical and process issues to team members.

Coordinate with other team members and keep project managers well informed of development progress.

Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in software development.

Job Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or a related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of working experience as a Laravel Developer.

Familiarity with software version control (Git).

In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP and the Laravel PHP framework.

Hands-on experience with SQL schema design and REST API design.

Experience with software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec).

MySQL performance profiling and query optimization.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in Vue will be an added advantage.

Candidates with relevant working experience in property management, accounting, or ERP software programming will have an added advantage.
