Job summary

BATERIKU (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a software developer to build and maintain Laravel/PHP and Flutter applications, REST APIs, and integrations.

You will collaborate with the Product Manager and IT Manager to clarify requirements, estimate work, and manage priorities. You will perform various testing activities and contribute to deployment readiness. The role emphasizes following coding standards, maintaining documentation, and safeguarding data and credentials while supporting production

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in software development or IT.
• Experience with Laravel/PHP and Flutter/Dart.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, Git and MySQL/MariaDB.
• Ability to debug issues and test before handoff.
• Strong communication with product, design, business and technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn across Laravel and Flutter.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Laravel/PHP applications and Flutter apps.
• Work with Product Manager and IT Manager to clarify requirements and priorities.
• Estimate work and communicate progress, risks and blockers clearly.
• Perform unit, integration, and functional testing; basic security testing.
• Prepare test evidence for user acceptance testing or release approval.
• Investigate and resolve defects, performance, data, and production incidents.
• Participate in production support, deployment and post-release verification.
• Follow architecture, coding standards, Git workflow and release controls.
• Maintain API, configuration, deployment, incident and support documentation.
• Protect company information and credentials.
