Job summary

Sierramas Homeowners Berhad is seeking a Landscape/Garden Supervisor to oversee gardening maintenance across the estate, ensuring softscape and hardscape works meet quality standards.

The role involves supervising trees, shrubs, turf, and irrigation-related tasks, coaching field workers, and preparing work plans and technical reports for management. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Landscape Architecture/Design, Horticulture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Good understanding of softscape and hardscape works, plant selection, and maintenance practices.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, arboriculture and pest control will be an advantage.
• Team player with a proactive and responsible attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist and monitor softscape and hardscape gardening maintenance across the estate.
• Supervise works including trees, shrubs, turf, and gardening tasks.
• Coach and supervise field workers to ensure quality and timely completion.
• Prepare daily/periodic work plans and duty rosters for workers.
• Prepare technical reports on landscape upgrades and on-site inspections.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure orderly gardening arrangements.

Job description

1. To assist and monitor overall softscape and hardscape of gardening maintenance works in the estate;
2. To supervise works including maintenance of trees, shrubs, turf and all gardening related works;
3. Coach and supervise field workers at site to ensure quality and completion of work;
4. Prepare daily/periodic work plans, duty roster for general workers and implement gardening maintenance culture;
5. To prepare technical report such as proposal of upgrading on problematic area related to gardening and landscape, etc, as well as provide routine on site professional inspections for management on any of the situation faced;
6. To liaise closely and cooperate with other departments in order to maintain and ensure the gardening arrangement is in order;
7. To assist in monitoring and maintain of mosquito homes & larvaciding works and other pest control programmes;
8. To prepare checklist on machinery maintenance and chemical stock;
9. Engagement with Arborist, contractors and service providers;
10. Ensure that health and safety policies are complied with;
11. Assist in attends all landscape related complaints from residents of Sierramas;
12. Any adhoc duties as required by the Superior from time to time.
