Job Description
  • The primary responsibility of the Laboratory Technician is to provide analytical support to external and internal customers, including maintaining conformance to analytical procedures, testing, instrument maintenance, and documentation.
  • The technician will perform daily testing, support laboratory functions, and assist relevant personnel with special projects as needed and assigned, including:
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, control, and assurance for all analyses conducted in the laboratory.
  • Performing offshore/onshore related activities.
  • Ensuring data reliability through adherence to quality assurance protocols.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to laboratory personnel.
  • Investigating quality incidents related to laboratory activities.
  • Being responsible and accountable for all laboratory activities under supervision, while maintaining compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, internal SOPs, and client requirements related to analysis and data generation.
  • Planning maintenance and calibration schedules for laboratory instrumentation.
  • Ensuring compliance with all company programs, contributing to customer service excellence, and adhering to QA/QC, HSE, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
  • Certificate or Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical, or Petroleum Engineering from a recognized university or college.
  • 2 to 3+ years of working experience in the Oil & Gas industry, where applicable.
  • Experience in laboratory applications.
