Job summary

A company in the food industry is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join their manufacturing team in Pulau Indah, Selangor. The role involves conducting inspections, preparing ingredients, and supporting quality control operations. Ideal candidates should have a diploma in a science-related field and at least 2 years of QC/QA experience in food manufacturing. Knowledge of food safety regulations is advantageous. Rotating shifts are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years in QC/QA experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Halal, and food safety requirements is a plus.
• Able to perform rotating shift work.

MOTIVAGE SDN BHD is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join our manufacturing team in Pulau Indah, Selangor. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting in QC operations while ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently maintained.

Job description

• Conduct inspection on incoming raw materials, packaging materials, in-process samples and outgoing finished products
• Prepare ingredients for production
• Perform sampling for incoming raw materials and packaging materials
• Conduct product’s shelf life study
• Perform sensory evaluation
• Responsible to support R&D and production with regards to analytical services and job-related continuous improvement activities
• Maintain 5S for QC Laboratory
• Update all lab records in a timely manner with good traceability

Requirements

• Diploma with Science background
• 2 years in QC/QA experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Able to read, write and speak English
• Knowledge in GMP, HACCP, Halal and food safety requirements in food industry will be an added advantage
• Computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office
• Able to perform rotating shift work
• Willing to work at Westport, Pulau Indah (Halal Hub) area
