Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Kedah is seeking a laboratory technician to carry out routine testing and investigations. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and must be fluent in English. Responsibilities include maintaining documentation and supporting R&D activities on new products. The role requires analytical skills and familiarity with MS Excel and Word.

• Familiarity with rubber & wire lab is an advantage.

Overview

To carry out routine laboratory product testing activity.

Conduct product failure investigation, preparing reports and initiate improvement activity (e.g., RCA, Kaizen, TPM, DOE, DFMEA, PFMEA).

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine laboratory product testing activity.
• Conduct product failure investigations, prepare reports and initiate improvement activities (e.g., RCA, Kaizen, TPM, DOE, DFMEA, PFMEA).
• Develop and maintain documentation (e.g., testing records, SOPs, WI).
• Conduct laboratory equipment calibration, validation and optimization.
• Involve in laboratory equipment maintenance.
• Support R&D activities on testing new products and validation processes.

Requirements

• Able to communicate in English is a MUST
• 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Familiar with rubber & wire lab is an advantage
• Analytical and computer literate — MS Excel & Word
