Job summary

CASTconsult Sdn Bhd is hiring a Lab & Site Technician for its Bintulu Branch. The role requires travel to outstations and remote Sarawak sites, overtime when needed, and reports using MS Office. You should be able to work at construction sites in outdoor conditions with minimum supervision.

Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field is preferred. Own transport and a valid driving licence are essential; strong teamwork and communication are important for site inspections and laboratory testing

Lab & Site Technician – Bintulu Branch CASTconsult Sdn Bhd is looking for a Lab & Site Technician to join our Bintulu Branch.

Job Requirements:

• Willing to travel and work outstation whenever required.


• Willing to work at remote/inland areas in Sarawak.


• Willing to work overtime, weekends or public holidays when required.


• Familiar with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and Word, for preparing reports and documentation.


• Possess own transportation and a valid driving licence.


• Physically fit and able to work at construction sites, including outdoor work and hot weather conditions.


• Preferably Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction or related field.


• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.


• Willing to learn new skills, testing methods and site procedures.


• Able to understand, follow and carry out instructions given by the supervisor.


• Good teamwork and communication skills.


• Previous experience in construction, laboratory testing, site inspection or related work will be an advantage.
