Job summary

WhiteCrow Research Pvt. Ltd. in Malaysia seeks an L3 Lead - Datamart/MXML/Risk to drive global IT delivery for our client in financial services.

You will plan technical and functional deliverables, manage risk, coordinate resources, and lead deployment activities across complex programs. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in global IT delivery, 3+ years in leadership, strong stakeholder communication, and banking domain experience, with hands-on SDLC knowledge and a track record of delivering

Qualifications

• 10+ years in global IT delivery for multinational/regional companies with budgetary responsibility.
• 3+ years leadership experience managing IT delivery teams.
• Experience in communicating with functional and technical stakeholders.
• Banking industry experience preferred.
• Experience implementing large-scale, highly available applications.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Plan technical and functional deliverables, including system enhancements and upgrades, to meet project requirements within budget and schedule.
• Plan, monitor, and manage risks and issues related to technical delivery.
• Own issues that may impact delivery quality and timelines.
• Provide technical delivery status updates to the TDM, PM, and Program Manager.
• Plan and allocate resources to support EOD tasks and production tasks.
• Oversee deployment tasks, code reviews, maker-checker, and inform the release team of status.
• Own the delivery plan, escalate issues impacting schedule, propose resolutions and follow up.
• Manage stakeholders and ensure adherence to project governance with proper documentation.

As a L3 Lead - (Datamart/MXML/Risk), you will be responsible for:

• Planning technical and functional deliverables, including system enhancements and upgrades, to meet project requirements within the allocated budget and schedule.
• Planning, monitoring, and managing risks and issues related to technical delivery.
• Taking ownership of issues that may impact delivery quality and timelines.
• Providing technical delivery status updates to the TDM, Project Manager (PM), and Program Manager.
• Planning and allocating resources to support EOD tasks and day-to-day production tasks requiring assistance.
• Overseeing deployment tasks, arranging peer reviews of code, assigning maker-checker responsibilities, and updating the release team on status.
• Owning the delivery plan, escalating issues that impact the project schedule in a timely manner, proposing workarounds and resolutions, and following up on proposed solutions to resolve problems.
• Managing stakeholders throughout the role and ensuring adherence to project governance, with all changes being documented and approved.

What you already have...

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or similar domain
• Good business domain knowledge in Global Markets and Group Risk
• More than 10 years track record in developing and delivering global/regional IT capabilities for a multi-national/regional company with annual budgetary responsibility
• More than 3 years leadership experience in managing IT delivery teams
• Experience in communicating with functional and technical stakeholders
• Experience in banking industry preferred
• Experience in implementing large-scale, highly available applications or other large project implementation
• Experience in service-oriented technologies
• Proven result-oriented person with a focus on delivery
• Experience in actual systems development work, with prior coding, functional specifications and technical specifications and systems development and testing experience (in aggregate no less than 8 years)
• Good understanding and experience in software development cycle
• Highly effective communicating with technical stakeholders, proficient communicating with non-technical stakeholders
• Good problem solving, analytical, synthesis, system thinking and solutioning skills
