Overview
This job is for a Core & Cards Support Engineer at Accenture. You will work on banking tech, solving issues and improving systems. It is a mix of tech skills, teamwork, and problem-solving, with shift work in Kuala Lumpur.
Responsibilities
- Provide L2 support for core banking and card processing applications.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot JBoss/Weblogic servers.
- Execute database queries using SQL on Oracle, MSSQL, MYSQL.
- Develop Shell Scripting solutions for server maintenance and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address incidents and escalate when necessary.
- Adhere to shift schedules to support 24x7 system availability.
Qualifications
- Experience level: Junior (3-5 years of experience) or equivalent.
- Experience in SQL, Shell Scripting, database management (Oracle/MSSQL/MYSQL), and Unix/Linux environments.
- Proactive, technically skilled, willingness to work shifts, experience supporting web servers and Java-based server applications.
