About the Role

Events team is collecting corporate actions and calendar of events for approximately 100,000 public and private companies from various sources, including company publications and news aggregators. The data includes highly sensitive events that require a high level of accuracy to deliver timely insights for client decision‑making.

The Impact: As a Data Analyst, you will support the integrity and comprehensiveness of the dataset by utilizing internal and external public research sources such as government and regulatory documents, stock exchanges, industry journals, analyst reports, and proprietary research tools to collect, summarize, and synthesize relevant information. This role offers a stepping stone to understand global market dynamics and allows you to learn the various facets of the assigned industry while contributing to process improvement projects, including LEAN and automation initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Collate, analyze, and extract high‑quality data, entering it into work tools according to specification guidelines for the assigned vertical.
  • Send emails or make phone calls to Korean corporates to inquire about event information when necessary.
  • Monitor regulations and policies related to earnings calls in the Korean stock markets, delivering updates to the team.
  • Understand the dataset and workflows, maintaining strong proficiency with work tools.
  • Provide input and ideas for new collection methods and product enhancements related to the dataset.
  • Deliver on predefined individual and team targets, ensuring outcomes meet quality and excellence standards.
  • Troubleshoot problems or issues and support the team in enhancing workflows and processes for the department.
  • Review feedback on Events content to correct errors and refine procedures and processes for improved accuracy.
  • Collaborate within your team and with related teams, working with supervisors and members to understand processes and procedures.
  • Complete Learning XChange and LinkedIn Learning modules, as well as policy compliance modules, to increase learning.
  • Innovate by identifying enhancement initiatives that support our LEAN philosophy.
  • Monitor Korean Stock Exchange disclosures daily.
What We’re Looking For
  • Korean native speaker with excellent communication and writing skills.
  • MBA fresher with a finance specialization and strong academic record.
  • Knowledge of corporate finance/accountancy, including financial statements and annual reports.
  • Well versed with secondary research sources.
  • Certification or experience in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and interpretive skills.
  • Ability to conduct efficient thematic online research.
