Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation:
    • Prepare ingredients according to recipes and portion sizes
    • Assist in cooking and plating dishes as directed by the chef or supervisor
    • Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
  • Cleanliness & Hygiene:
    • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment
    • Follow food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP, local health regulations)
    • Properly store food items and ensure correct labeling and rotation (FIFO)
  • Teamwork & Communication:
    • Support fellow kitchen and service team members during busy hours
    • Communicate effectively with chefs and front‑of‑house teams
    • Assist in training new team members when required
  • Stock & Equipment:
    • Monitor ingredient levels and inform supervisor for replenishment
    • Handle kitchen tools and equipment safely and efficiently
    • Report maintenance or equipment issues promptly
