Job description

Responsibilities

• Preparing meal ingredients for the Chef, including washing, peeling, cutting and slicing ingredients
• Properly washing and drying all dishes, utensils, cooking equipment and cutting boards, and putting them away in their respective places
• Packing take‑out orders as needed
• Operating kitchen equipment such as ovens and grills for cooking purposes
• Removing garbage, replacing garbage bags and washing the garbage bin
• Mopping and sweeping the kitchen area as required
• Keeping all working areas clean and tidy and ensuring no cross contamination
• Storing ingredients and food items according to food safety standards

Requirements

• Certificate/Diploma in Culinary Arts or Food & Beverage
• SPM with relevant experience may apply
• Experience in beverage/restaurant service is required
• Experience in Japanese restaurant preferred
• Ability to work on shift hours, weekends and public holidays
