Job summary

A leading semiconductor solutions provider is seeking an experienced Key Accounts Sales / Service & Application Engineer to manage and grow strategic accounts across Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. The role involves key account management, business development, technical application support, and after-sales service in precision tooling and automation solutions. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry with excellent communication and negotiation skills. This is a role requiring regional travel.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in Sales, Service, and Application Engineering within the Semiconductor Industry.
  • Strong experience in Key Accounts management and business development.
  • Solid application knowledge of Precision Tools & Mold Tools, and Semiconductor assembly automation equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop key semiconductor customer accounts in Malaysia, Philippines, and Vietnam.
  • Drive new business development and revenue growth for precision tools and automation equipment.

Key Accounts Sales / Service & Application Engineer (Semiconductor Industry)

We are seeking an experienced Key Accounts Sales / Service & Application Engineer to manage and grow strategic semiconductor customer accounts across Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam.

This role combines key account management, business development, technical application support, and after-sales service, supporting semiconductor assembly and manufacturing customers with high-precision tooling and automation solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop key semiconductor customer accounts in Malaysia, Philippines, and Vietnam
  • Drive new business development and revenue growth for precision tools, mold tools, jigs & fixtures, and automation equipment
  • Provide technical sales and application engineering support for:
    • Precision Tools and Mold Tools
    • Precision Jigs & Fixtures
    • Semiconductor assembly automation equipment
  • Support customers in tool selection, process optimization, troubleshooting, and technical problem-solving
  • Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations
  • Coordinate with internal engineering, production, and quality teams to meet customer technical, quality, and delivery requirements
  • Provide after-sales service support and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities within the semiconductor industry
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in Sales, Service, and Application Engineering within the Semiconductor Industry
  • Strong experience in Key Accounts management and business development
  • Solid application knowledge of:
    • Precision Tools & Mold Tools
    • Precision Jigs & Fixtures
    • Semiconductor assembly automation equipment
  • Good understanding of semiconductor assembly processes (e.g. molding, singulation, handling, automation)
  • Willingness to travel regionally (Malaysia, Philippines & Vietnam)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics or related disciplines) preferred
