This role drives sales growth for NS BlueScope Lysaght Malaysia by managing key customer accounts, acquiring new clients, and executing sales strategies. It requires strong industry knowledge, relationship‑building skills, and the ability to develop strategic sales plans and joint partner initiatives with clear objectives and targets.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy & Execution – Set and implement sales plans aligned with company goals and market share ambitions.
  • Customer Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with key market players and manage key accounts. specifically metal roofers, steel fabricators, metal roof installers, and industrial building contractors.
  • Performance & Target Achievement – Achieve monthly sales targets through trend‑based portfolio management and proactive sales actions.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Work with operations, finance, and marketing teams to ensure smooth project and service delivery.
  • Market Intelligence & Growth – Monitor market trends and competitors, refine strategies, and maximize customer satisfaction through upselling and cross‑selling
Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the steel or building materials industry with strong knowledge of product applications.
  • Established relationships with metal roofers, installers, fabricators, and industrial contractors.
  • Proven key account management and high‑value sales closure skills.
  • Highly preferred: experience in metal, steel, or aluminum roofing sales; candidates with networks in related roofing products (e.g., fasteners, skylights, insulation, steel structures) will also be considered.
