A leading beauty products company seeks a skilled professional in Kuala Lumpur for a sales/account management role. Responsibilities include developing account strategies, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and analyzing market trends. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor or Master's in Marketing, and 2-3 years of FMCG sales experience. Experience in skincare is a plus. Develop and implement account strategies and business plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in Skintific accounts, including buyers, category managers, and store managers.
Conduct regular business reviews with accounts to analyse performance, identify growth opportunities, and address any challenges.
Collaborate with internal teams, including offline marketing, product development, and supply chain, to develop tailored strategies and initiatives for Skintific accounts.
Negotiate terms, pricing, and promotions with accounts, ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for new product launches and promotional campaigns.
Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to demand planning activities.
Analyse sales data and performance metrics to track progress, evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives, and propose adjustments as needed.
Create and implement annual business plan taking into account all levers of growth: commercial agreements, marketing actions, education, merchandising and retail opportunities, profitability, trade terms, etc.
Monitor the accounts’ performance against business plan (reporting and analytics) and develop alternative strategies when needed.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes impacting the beauty industry.
Experience in Skincare, cosmetic industry is a plus.
Bachelor or Master Degree in BBA, Marketing or related fields.
Minimum 2-3 years FMCG experience in Sales/ Key Account Management Merchandiser, Offline business.
Business Development would be a plus (have a product knowledge in Health and Beauty).
Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Logical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
Experience managing and developing key accounts.
Strong understanding of the sales process from prospecting to close.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to interact with a broad set of businesses and stakeholders and presenting both over the phone and in person.
