Job summary

A local rental solutions company in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Executive to manage and grow key client accounts. Responsibilities include securing new clients, preparing technical proposals, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates will have 2–3 years of experience in technical sales, a strong understanding of Mechanical and Electrical systems, and the ability to communicate in Mandarin or Cantonese. This role requires a proactive, solution-driven personality with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
  • Manage, service, and grow key client accounts.
  • Secure new clients while retaining and nurturing existing relationships.
  • Prepare proposals, technical solutions, and quotations based on client needs.
  • Understand client requirements and identify the correct technical fit.
  • Present and explain technical specifications confidently and accurately to clients.
  • Consistent and continuous educate clients on the brand and products.
  • Monitor project progress and activities, ensuring prompt and timely updates and follow-ups.
  • Execute onsite activities independently with accountability and professionalism.
  • Conduct effective presentations and discussions with clients.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and strong problem-solving.
  • Involves in sales and marketing strategies and execution for brand and product market exposure.
  • Able to work in environment where strict SOPs and Policies are in place.
  • Able to manage and accommodate ad-hoc requests and execute professional in intense situations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, external parties, and companies within the group.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships with a pleasant and professional personality.
Requirements
  • 2–3 years of experience in technical based sales and/or business development.
  • Knowledge and understanding of M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) is REQUIRED.
  • Ability to present and discuss technical specifications with clients confidently.
  • Pleasant personality—ambitious, proactive, optimistic, and solution-driven.
  • Strong customer relationship and communication skills.
  • Willing to travel frequently and drive to multiple client locations.
  • Familiar with Google Drive, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
  • Basic knowledge of marketing is an added advantage.
Language Requirement
  • Mandarin and/or Cantonese – Spoken only Required to effectively communicate with Mandarin/Cantonese-speaking clients.
