A leading consumer goods company in Malaysia is seeking a Key Account Executive to manage relationships with key accounts. The ideal candidate will develop account plans, provide sales forecasts, and oversee trade spending. A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Studies and at least 1 year of relevant experience are required. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. The role includes travel and the potential for additional languages is a plus.
Align account development plans with customers across all Etika categories to ensure mutual growth and strategic collaboration.
Serve as the key representative of the company in managing all operational and accounts receivable (AR) matters with assigned key accounts.
Identify new business opportunities and support the National Business Manager in establishing a strong foundation for major negotiations, including Trading Terms, Joint Business Plans (JBP), and category development initiatives.
Provide accurate sales forecasts for assigned portfolios, aligned with the National Business Manager. Proactively highlight opportunities and challenges, and contribute actionable insights to achieve sales targets and forecast accuracy.
Manage trade spend for assigned accounts to maximize return on investment. Oversee the end-to-end process from accruals and claims to final payment.
Deliver both sales and qualitative KPIs for below-the-line (BTL) activations. Collaborate with the operations team and merchandising partners to enhance in-store visibility and ensure merchandising standards are upheld according to company guidelines.
Partner closely with the National Business Manager to meet key performance indicators, including sales turnover and gross profit targets.
REQUIREMENTS
Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Studies, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year experience in a Key Account Executive role, with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Results-oriented and KPI-driven, with a strong commitment to achieving business objectives. A proven track record of success is an added advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese is a plus.
Must possess a valid driving license, own transport, and be willing to travel as required.
