A leading recruitment firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Junior Video Editor to join their Creative team for a 6-month contract. This role involves editing video content, creating animations, and collaborating with senior editors to produce high-quality marketing materials. Ideal candidates will have a related degree, 1-2 years of experience, or a strong portfolio. The position offers an opportunity to grow your creative skills in a dynamic environment.

Location: Mid Valley (Work-in-Office)
Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Join our dynamic Creative team and help bring engaging video content to life. As a Junior Video Editor, you will work closely with senior editors and designers to craft compelling visual stories for marketing campaigns. KPI Incentive: RM 300
Edit a variety of video assets, including cutting, trimming, transitions, text animations, and syncing audio.
Create simple animations and motion graphics to enhance video storytelling.
Collaborate with senior editors, designers, and content teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality outputs.
Incorporate feedback effectively and make revisions with accuracy and attention to detail.
Maintain consistent branding, pacing, tone, and style across all video content.
Organize project files, manage version control, and ensure smooth workflow processes.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Design, Film Production, or related fields.
Experience
1–2 years of experience in offline video editing with a portfolio showcasing long‑form or offline edits.
Fresh graduates with strong passion and portfolio are welcome to apply.
Skills
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Familiarity with online editing tools such as After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, or DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
Good understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and editing fundamentals.
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem‑solving capabilities.
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
Creative thinker who can offer fresh ideas and adapt to new challenges and technologies.
