Qualifications

Coherent Malaysia is seeking a Test Technician to support our production line.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the test engineer in achieving test yield targets.
• Ensure compliance with the Quality Policy and meet customer expectations.
• Maintain and qualify testers for production use.
• Perform periodic verification and calibration on testers.
• Provide technical support on testers per test engineer instruction to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, ESD, Cleanroom and Housekeeping guidelines. Measurement: Repair time, conversion time, and machine down time.

Job Requirements

• Diploma of Engineering preferably majoring in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical.
• At least 1 year experience in a related industry and mass production environment. Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature, buddy availability, learning duration, etc.
• Good computer literacy, communication skills, and reporting of information/data.
• Familiar with circuit diagrams and a strong background in Electronics.
• Familiarity with test instruments (Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, etc.).
