Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Junior Software Developer in Malaysia to join International Services & Software. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates with foundational knowledge across Java, Python, or similar languages and a passion for learning.

You will work in an Agile setting, contribute to developing features, perform testing, and grow your software engineering fundamentals while collaborating with a global team.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate or within 12–18 months of completing a degree.
• Foundational knowledge in at least one modern language (Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Solid understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and SDLC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; team player.
• Familiarity with Git.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, scalable code in Windows environment.
• Assist in development and implementation of features and services.
• Participate in unit, integration, and system testing; fix defects.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment with daily stand-ups.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain quality and share knowledge.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and design specs.
• Pursue learning of new technologies to improve skills.
