Job summary

AutoCount is seeking a Junior Software Developer to join our vibrant tech team in Malaysia. You will collaborate closely with the Accounting Team to develop, test and maintain software applications, emphasizing performance and user‑friendly interfaces.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or IT, has hands‑on experience with React Native, RESTful APIs and modern state management, and is eager to learn in a dynamic, collaborative environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or IT.
• At least 2 years of experience with React Native.
• Familiar with RESTful APIs and backend integration.
• Knowledge of Redux, MobX, or Context API.
• Azure experience is a plus.
• Understanding mobile UI/UX principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new software programmes.
• Maintain and improve the performance of existing software.
• Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
• Design and update software database.
• Analyze user needs and software requirement to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing software.
• Write and maintain technical documentation to describe programme development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
• Code and test software based upon software specifications and design.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with other team members throughout the Company.
• Other tasks as may be assigned by the Team Lead or management from time to time.
