Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling full-set accounts (AR, AP, GL, bank reconciliation)
• Help with monthly closing and basic financial reports
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documents
• Support audit preparation and SST submission
• Work closely with Senior Accountant and Finance Manager
• Independently manage full-set accounts
• Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings
• Prepare full financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Handle SST reporting, tax computation, and compliance
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and LHDN
• Supervise junior team members

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1–2 years working experience (internship acceptable)
• Basic knowledge of Malaysia SST and accounting standards
• Familiar with accounting software (e.g. SQL, AutoCount, etc.)
• Responsible, detail‑oriented, and willing to learn
• Degree in Accounting / Finance or professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, etc.)
• Minimum 3–5 years relevant experience in full-set accounting
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax and statutory requirements
• Experience with SST, income tax, audit process
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & accounting systems
• Able to manage junior staff and take initiative
