We are looking for a Junior Procurement Executive who is passionate about operational excellence, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can support both local and international procurement activities.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Junior Procurement Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the full procurement cycle—from vendor sourcing to purchase order execution—ensuring the company secures the right products, at the right time, with the best value.

You will have hands‑on exposure to international procurement, especially with China‑based vendors, while ensuring smooth coordination across internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop strong procurement fundamentals and eventually grow into a specialist or leadership role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Procurement Administration & Process Management
  • Manage the end‑to‑end procurement administration including PR (Purchase Request), PO (Purchase Order), GRN (Goods Received Note), and invoice processing.
  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date procurement records, supplier documentation, and purchasing databases.
  • Ensure all procurement processes comply with company policies and audit requirements.
Local & Overseas Procurement Coordination
  • Handle overseas procurement exercises including sourcing, negotiation, shipment coordination, customs documentation, and delivery follow‑up.
  • Work closely with freight forwarders, logistics partners, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
China Vendor Management
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with China suppliers on product specifications, quotations, lead time, shipment arrangements, and after‑sales matters.
  • Monitor vendor responsiveness, product quality, and performance metrics to ensure reliability.
Sourcing & Cost Efficiency
  • Assist in market research and product sourcing to identify competitive pricing and new suppliers.
  • Support negotiation activities to achieve cost savings and favourable commercial terms.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Operations, Production, Finance, and Technical teams to ensure procurement activities align with project timelines and operational requirements.
  • Flag potential delays, supply risks, and quality issues proactively.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations, or any related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain administration (fresh graduates with internships may be considered).
  • Experience handling overseas procurement and vendor coordination, especially with China suppliers, is a strong advantage.
  • Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail, and excellent follow‑through.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia. An ability to converse in other dialects is an added advantage due to supplier interactions.
  • Proficient in MS Office / Google Workspace; experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.
  • A proactive, resourceful, and responsible team player.
