We are seeking a proactive and driven Junior Pre-Sales IT Advisor / Solutions Architect to join our team in Penang. This is an ideal entry point for a motivated professional looking to grow a career in technical pre-sales. In this role, you will provide critical support to our senior IT Advisor / Solutions Architects by assisting in the design and documention of complex IT infrastructure solutions for our clients. This position includes dedicated on-the-job training with a clear career path toward becoming an independent and experienced IT Advisor / Solutions Architect.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Solution Support – Assist senior IT Advisors / Solutions Architects with the design and documentation of IT solutions, including servers, storage, virtualization, backup and recovery, and cloud-based systems.
• Proposal Development – Prepare technical proposals, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and Scopes of Work (SOWs) in response to customer inquiries (RFPs/RFQs), populating templates with standard product information and project details.
• Administrative and Coordination tasks – Administrative follow up, coordinate with internal and external teams to gather necessary information for proposals and solutions.
• Knowledge & Process Management – Maintain and update our library of technical documentation and standard solution templates to streamline pre-sales operations.
• Professional Growth – Actively participate in on-the-job training and professional development to build expertise in a wide range of IT system technologies. You will shadow senior team members in client meetings to gain valuable experience in articulating technical value propositions.

Requirements

Education

A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is required.

Experience

This is a junior-level role. We welcome fresh graduates with strong academic credentials or individuals with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a technical support, system administration, or related IT role.

Technical Skills

• A foundational understanding of core IT system infrastructure is essential. This includes familiarity with server hardware, storage concepts, and virtualization technologies.
• An interest in and exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP), data backup solutions, and enterprise networking is a strong advantage.
