Assistant Manager, NOC Dept at Acoda Networks Sdn Bhd
About the role
We are seeking a motivated Junior NOC Engineer (Entry Level) to join Acoda Group in our Cyberjaya, Selangor office. This is a full‑time, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and monitoring of our business operations.
Job Descriptions [What you’ll be doing]:
- To perform regular Telco operations functions such as monitoring, maintaining and managing the daily 24x7 operation of the network
- Escalate issues to respective team and supplier according to the incident reported by customer and ensure SLA is met.
- Provide prompt and professional response to customers to ensure the customer is well updated.
- Follow up on all assigned cases and outstanding issues within the appropriate timeframe.
- To assume any other jobs by the top management.
- Generate reports and documents for customers on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Ensure all documentations, SOPs and store housekeeping are up to date
- Able to perform tasks timely and work independently with minimum supervision.
- Provide Level 1 and 1.5 troubleshooting & assistance to customers / clients.
- Provide assistance for customer visitation's request to the Data Center.
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and best practices
- Normal Working Office hours (9.00am - 5.00pm) 4 days at office & 1 day from home. Hybrid working hours. Subject to change if have any outstation work / ad-hoc projects
What we’re looking for :
- Minimum Diploma in Telecommunication/IT-Networking or related field of study
- Entry-level experience or basic knowledge in network administration, troubleshooting, and monitoring
- Good written, customer service and verbal communication skills (fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English)
- Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Good team player with positive attitude, punctual, multitasking, hardworking & passionate
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Able to adapt with ad-hoc project (currently MCMC Wifi Project for UKM & UTeM) with minimum supervision (training & guidance will be provided within probation period)
- Willing to work on standby 24 hours after office hours and weekend / public holiday (ROTATION BASIS / WHEN NEEDED) to respond to customers’ reports, issues & complaints via calls / emails
- Willing to work in Cyberjaya, Malaysia and willing to travel for onsite tasks.
- Possess own transport for travel to provide onsite and offsite support and assist customer operational tasks
- Able to start immediately is an advantage

Salary range: RM2.3k (during 4-6 months probation) - RM2.6k (upon completed probation). Negotiable.
