A leading food retail company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Multimedia Designer to create engaging designs and manage photo and video content for branding and marketing. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience and proficiency in design tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia is required. This role offers opportunities to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and manage diverse projects.
Conceptualize and execute creative design ideas for digital and print materials, including social media content, web assets, advertisements, packaging, brochures, point-of-sale materials, and in-store displays.
Ensure brand consistency across all creative outputs in line with corporate identity and campaign direction.
Collaborate closely with the marketing and brand team to develop visually appealing, on‑brand content that supports product launches, promotions, and brand initiatives.
Support cross‑functional projects with creative input, including event branding, digital advertisements, and internal communication materials.
Plan, shoot, and edit high‑quality product, lifestyle, and campaign photos and videos for marketing and social media use.
Conceptualize and produce engaging video content such as promotional clips, storytelling videos, behind‑the‑scenes features, and motion graphics.
Manage post‑production tasks including editing, colour correction, sound balancing, and visual effects to deliver polished outputs.
Perform photo retouching, cropping, resizing, and background cleanup for e‑commerce, marketing, and promotional use.
Optimize images and video formats for web, mobile, and social platforms to ensure performance and visual quality.
Ensure all creative materials comply with brand and campaign requirements before publication.
Work collaboratively with the Business Development, branding, and operations teams to meet project objectives and deadlines.
Manage multiple design and multimedia projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and creative excellence.
Provide guidance and support to team or external creative vendors where necessary.
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in multimedia design, photography, videography, and digital content creation.
Proficiency in design and editing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, and Canva.
Strong understanding of brand identity, visual storytelling, and digital marketing trends.
Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders (spoken and written).
Strong creative portfolio showcasing expertise in design, video production, and brand campaigns.
Excellent sense of visual composition, attention to detail, and creative problem‑solving.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment with strong organizational skills.
Positive attitude, team‑oriented, and proactive in taking creative initiatives.
