Job summary

ExxonMobil Malaysia is seeking an entry-level engineer to support the asset integrity of fixed equipment and piping across our global Product Solutions and Upstream facilities. This role combines materials and corrosion expertise with inspection experience to ensure reliability and safety, with occasional travel and collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Materials or Mechanical Engineering with an excellent academic track record.
• Less than 3 years of relevant working experience is encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural global setting with strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated intellectual rigor, drive, and proactiveness in leading change; innovative and analytical thinking; ability to collaborate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support asset integrity of fixed equipment and piping across Product Solutions or Upstream facilities globally.
• Provide high quality technical insights and support to fixed equipment and piping for ExxonMobil’s manufacturing facilities worldwide.
• Combine materials and corrosion expertise with inspection experience and static equipment knowledge to ensure reliability and safety.
• Develop and deploy integrity, static and corrosion management workflows for Product Solutions and Upstream businesses globally.
• Develop and optimize inspection plans and recommendations using data analytics.
• Deliver integrity effectiveness through criticality assessments, consequence/complexity rating, and inspection interval optimization within regulations.
• Leverage cutting-edge tools and digital techniques to improve delivery and asset performance.
