A leading technology company in Malaysia, Penang, seeks a mechanical engineer to analyze and validate mechanical changes, perform testing, and deliver detailed reports. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and relevant experience. Proficiency in Creo 3D is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years working experience in related field for Junior position.
• 4-7 years working experience in related field for Intermediate position.
• Basic knowledge in material properties & design guidelines of mechanical commodities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze proposed mechanical changes to conform to product specifications.
• Perform various mechanical and environmental testing for validation.
• Deliver mechanical drawings and quality reports as per schedule.

Service Scope

• Analyze proposed mechanical changes to conform to product specifications.
• Perform various mechanical and environmental testing for mechanical changes validation.
• Deliver the assigned work (mechanical drawings, test report, part qualification report and mechanical part changes system sign off & closure) as per the schedule and quality requirements as specified by MSI

Deliverables

• Complete the analysis of proposed mechanical changes to conform to product specifications
• Perform various mechanical and environmental testing for mechanical changes validation.
• Deliver mechanical drawings, test report, part qualification report and mechanical part changes system sign off & closure as per the schedule and quality requirements as specified by MSI

Requirements

• Junior - Preferably 1-3 years working experience in related field.
• Intermediate - Preferably 4-7 years working experience in related field.
• At least a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
• Basic knowledge in material properties & design guidelines of mechanical commodity such as plastic & sheet metal
• Familiar with the application of Design for Manufacturability & Assembly
• Familiar with Creo 3d software
