Job summary

Rez Quad Aire Resources in Malaysia is seeking a Semi-Skilled Air Conditioning Technician to join our field team. The role involves performing service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of air conditioning units.

You will work with a Senior Technician on more complex issues, ensure safety and quality, and interact with customers in a professional manner. A minimum of two years in HVAC and a Certificate/Diploma are required, along with a valid Class D driving license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in air conditioning/HVAC.
• Possess relevant Certificate/Diploma.
• Have skills in air conditioning service, installation and basic troubleshooting.
• Must have valid Class D and GDL driving license.
• Able to work in a team and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform air conditioning service, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Install new air conditioning units.
• Perform vacuum, pressure test, basic gas charging and piping installation.
• Identify and resolve basic air conditioning issues such as insufficient cooling, leaking, noise and drainage problems.
• Assist Senior Technician with complex troubleshooting and repair work.
• Ensure work is completed neatly, safely and in accordance with SOP.
• Maintain company equipment and cleanliness of work areas.
• Interact with customers professionally.
• Be prepared to work outside normal areas and overtime as required.
