Job summary

Reset Health is expanding its Malaysia development team to build frontend capabilities for web and mobile apps using React and React Native. The role offers influence over tooling, standards, and practices, with Agile processes managed in Jira and collaboration across global teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of commercial experience with React/React Native, strong TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3 skills, and familiarity with RESTful APIs. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science/STEM subject.
• Proven experience with React and React Native in a commercial environment (1+ year).
• Proficient in TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with Redux and middleware libraries.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile SDLC using Jira, Confluence, and Git.
• Experience developing unit tests and using CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Develop new front-end platform capabilities for web and mobile apps.
• Apply AI tools responsibly for productivity with oversight.
• Maintain strong technical standards: code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD, secure development.
• Engage with agile processes: sprint planning, refinement, sub-tasks, story points in Jira.

Job description

Following rapid expansion in all markets, including major contract wins in Malaysia, Reset Health are looking to expand the technical team across multiple geographies with the goal of enhancing the product for all markets.

This role will be a key early member of our new development team in Malaysia, with real influence over the tools, standards, and working practices the team adopts as it grows.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop new front-end platform capabilities for all our markets working on both our web and smartphone applications
• Apply AI tools responsibly to deliver productivity benefits while maintaining full oversight
• Work to strong technical standards and best-practise software engineering: code reviews, unit testing, CI/CD, secure software development
• Fully engage with our agile development process: sprint planning, refinement, sub-tasking, story point estimates all managed in Jira
• Collaborate closely with our global development team
• Assist our operations team with technical questions
• Provide Malaysian patients with responsive 2nd line support for technical issues as per the Global support Standard Operating Procedure

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science/STEM subject
• Proven experience at least 1 year of developing web applications with React and mobile applications with React Native in a commercial environment
• Proficient in TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with Redux and middleware libraries
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with working under an Agile SDLC using Jira, Confluence, and Git
• Experience developing unit tests and taking advantage of a CI/CD pipeline
• Proficient in written and spoken English
