Job summary

A leading retail company in Malaysia seeks a Display Manager responsible for overseeing festive decorations, advertising displays, and collaborating with vendors. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in graphic or visual merchandising and strong creativity. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe software is essential. Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required. This role may require weekend and holiday work for special events.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • To oversee and manage the display including in-house seasonal festive decoration, advertising collaterals, external vendors display, tenants’ collaterals and display within the mall.
  • To work closely with third party vendors and suppliers to ensure display standards are met.
  • To work closely and collaborate with all departments, in a teamwork manner in ensuring SOPs are met during décor and display set‑ups and dismantling.
  • Conduct weekly walkabouts to ensure all advertising collaterals, displays and décor within the mall are in good order.
  • To source, recommend and work with agencies, suppliers and printers on all matters regarding advertising collaterals and social media content.
  • To assist the Marketing Department on all promotional events set‑up and implementation, as and when required.
  • To assist with the Operations & Fit Out department on tenants’ ID and Fit Out designs’ matters.
  • Any other relevant tasks that may be assigned from time to time for the benefit of the Department and the Mall.
Qualifications
  • Proven work experience preferably in Advertising. Graphic, Display or Visual Merchandising industry.
  • Strong creativity and design skills.
  • Computer literate and well versed in AutoCAD / Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator / Graphics or Design software such as Canva etc / Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken BM & English.
  • Willing to work late for set‑up as well as weekends and Public Holidays for events.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Minimum 3 years work experience and with a Diploma in IT, Graphic Design, Creative Design, Advertising, Mass Communication or similar capacity.
